Star Spangled Banner

The US National Anthem.

Oh say, can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous
fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof throughout the night that our flag was still
there.
Oh say, does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the land of the brave.

On the shore, dimly seen through the mist of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, hal discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream ---
'tis the star spangled banner. Oh long may it wave.
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
